It is September and close to the end of another year for me.  And what an incredible year it has been…

I have traveled to far flung places.
Seen, heard and felt things that will have forever changed me.

I have lived fully.  The meaning, the moments and the memories.

I have felt deeply.  The wonder, the awe, the overwhelming passion for love and for life

I have loved completely.  With my heart and with my soul.

I have enjoyed simply.  With my toes in the water, my sights set on sunrise and sunset.

Another year marker will soon be here.  If change helps us to grow, then I am open to all the growth that my next year on this earth has in store for me.

I took this picture at the end of a very long day of walking – and it is completely untouched.  No filters, no improvements – just nature doing what it does best.

August is my month for self-indulgence.  The time that I take for myself to do one of the things that I have grown to love the most.
So far this month I have enjoyed time walking with lovely people in the Peak District, the Lake District, across the South Downs, on Brownsea Island, around the Devil’s Punch Bowl and down some of the LipChis way.

One of the most exciting things about my job, is all the opportunities I get to travel around and meet new people.

In November I am heading up to Scotland.  Last time I was there I had a pancake-related incident and a continuation of the on-going car saga that is my life…

Now that I’ve seen this pic, I’m REALLY looking forward to meeting some of the locals this time… 🙂

Day 316 - The Solvesborg Bridge

A Swedish design firm has developed a unique lighting scheme to enhance the landmark status of this bridge.
The use of color changing LED fixtures from lumenpulse graze the suspension cables of what is considered Europe’s longest bicycle and pedestrian viaduct.
Highlighting the distinctive arches, the pieces were mounted on the outside of the 756 meter long structure.
The overall design was achieved without impacting on the local wildlife – to limit glare, the firm integrated deep, custom glare shields, which also hide the light sources. influenced by the surrounding fauna and flora,
I wonder if I’ll get to see this when I go to Sweden in June…
